Trofie al pesto with prawns

Trofie al pesto with prawns 30 minutes - 2 servings


400g Trofie or spaghetti
250g cooked king prawns
1 jar Saclà Pesto alla Genovese
1 long red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
salt and freshly ground black pepper


First cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.
Next place the prawns in a bowl and toss them with the Saclà Pesto alla Genovese, chilli and lemon zest.
Season well to taste with salt and pepper.
Then drain the pasta holding back a cupful of the cooking water.
Return the pasta to the pan with the cooking liquid and toss well with the prawn and the sauce.
Serve immediately.
